Watercolor

It’s the one place on 30a where you can park your car and leave it for the length of your stay and never want for anything. Everything is within walking distance, a bike ride or quick golf cart ride to whatever you next whim may be. Shopping and dining choices are abound with two grocery stores to choose from for your weekly necessities.

There is so much to enjoy about this amazing community from the 7 pools to the boathouse, fitness center, gulf-front beach club, plenty of trails for walking and biking, green spaces to share with friends and neighbors, and of course, Western Lake which offers paddle boarding, kayaking, and the most photographed umbrella pines on 30A.

So many choices but my personal favorite is Chan’s Wine World. Their outdoor dining and people watching is only rivaled by the views from FOOW which overlooks the Gulf of Mexico.

Don’t forget to try the best biscuits in Scratch and grab a cup of coffee at Beach Happy Cafe.

Variety is the spice of life and you will never get bored in Watercolor. I think Watercolor is best enjoyed from a bicycle with its trails and lush landscape to enjoy the flora and fauna of nature at its best. One of my favorite customers moved from Naples into Watercolor so he could sell his car and grab his groceries via his electric bike and walk the trails outside his door to enjoy the beauty of our natural surroundings. What a way to live life by design!
