Good excuse to read whether it’s just a light and fun beach book.
The Walton-DeFuniak Library, built in 1887, is the oldest library in the state of Florida still serving the public. My kids and I have enjoyed using the Coastal Branch location off Highway 331 for years. There is always a good excuse to read whether it’s just a light and fun beach book or something more in-depth. There’s a reason why they call them a fun beach read!
One of my favorite series is set along our own Highway 30A and is called the Emerald Coast Mysteries Series by Deborah Rine. Check it out and don’t forget you can donate all those beachy fun reads back to our local library for a tax deduction on your way home.
“Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers.” ― Charles William Eliot.
